Steeping instructions: Steeping Dong Ding Oolong tea properly is crucial to bring out its nuanced flavors and aromas.
Use water heated to around 190°F to 200°F (88°C to 93°C). Dong Ding Oolong tea benefits from water that is not quite boiling to avoid scalding the delicate leaves.
Use approximately 1 teaspoon (about 3 to 4 grams) of Dong Ding Oolong tea leaves per 8 ounces of water. Adjust the amount based on personal preference for tea strength.
First Infusion: Steep the tea leaves for about 20 seconds and discard the initial brew. This initial steeping allows the tightly rolled leaves to unfurl and release their flavors. Then steep for 3 minutes.
Subsequent Infusions: Dong Ding Oolong tea can be steeped multiple times, with each infusion offering a slightly different flavor profile. Increase the steeping time by 30 seconds to 1 minute for each subsequent infusion. You can typically enjoy 3 to 5 infusions from the same batch of tea leaves.

Amanda –
Delicious smooth, green, earthy with the hint of being roasted. I always steep mine longer as I love a deeper flavour profile and this tea is perfect. By far the best oolong, and I love me some oolong. I do hope this becomes a regular as I could drink it everyday and still be amazed at how delicious it is! (fingers crossed)
