Description
Our Nepalese Noir tea is cultivated near the western borders of Darjeeling, India, and north of Illam, the renowned tea-growing region in Nepal. Situated at an altitude ranging from 4265 to 5905 feet, the tea garden benefits from pristine Himalayan climatic conditions, yielding uniquely aromatic teas.
Enthusiasts of classic English breakfast or single-origin teas from Assam or Darjeeling will discover similarities in Nepalese Noir, appreciating its distinctive flavor profile. Harvested from 50-year-old tea bushes, this tea boasts a fresher, more floral undertone compared to Indian teas often sourced from bushes nearly 200 years old.
Nepalese Noir follows traditional black tea production methods: the leaves are withered, rolled, oxidized, and dried. During the summer season, only two leaves and a bud are hand-picked to ensure exceptional quality and flavor in every cup.
Ingredients: Organic black tea
