Our Elephant Friendly™ Assam Whole Leaf Black Tea comes from the first tea farm in India to receive Elephant Friendly™ certification. It is grown by Tenzing Bodosa, a visionary farmer who manages his land to protect elephants rather than harm them.
Tenzing’s farm avoids the use of harmful pesticides and does not use trench irrigation, which often leads to injuries and deaths of elephants — especially calves. Instead, his farm is a safe passage for these magnificent creatures, and by choosing this tea, you are helping to support ethical, elephant-safe farming.
The tea itself is beautifully smooth, with a gentle natural sweetness and a soft citrus note that makes it a pleasure to sip. It is a reminder that what we drink can truly make a difference.

I know I keep raving about the dessert teas I’ve fallen in love with from this company, but they do offer lots of very good quality unflavored teas like this Elephant Friendly™ Assam Whole Leaf. An Assam tea is always a staple for me it’s my all day every day tea. I love the quality of this tea, even better that this one is elephant friendly.
