I don’t know about you but when I’m drinking a flavored tea, I actually want it to have a nice bold flavor that tastes like what it says on the canister, not some wishy washy taste that doesn’t resemble it. I can honestly say with the addition of a little organic whole milk and sugar, this IS chocolate candy cane! Oh my goodness it’s so delicious. I have been buying the loose leaf version of this tea for some time now and will continue to do so, it’s a firm all year around favorite for me

This is like unwrapping a gourmet Peppermint Patty in tea form. The peppermint aroma is absolutely intoxicating, and I love the little bits of candy cane rolled up with the chocolate and tea. It’s gorgeous right out of the package, and it’s unbelievable how large the leaves become once they fully unfurl after brewing!
I brewed it according to the package directions: 1.5 teaspoons per 8 oz of water, steeped at 212° for 4 minutes. It produced a stunning deep burgundy liqueur. The scent in the cup is light and sweet, almost playful. With the first sip, I get the tea and chocolate up front, and then the peppermint tingle shoots right up to the roof of my mouth and into the back of my throat. It’s incredibly smooth, with zero astringency.
The package says it’s “a cup of holiday cheer,” and honestly, that hits it right on Rudolph’s nose!

Chocolate candy cane flavors sometimes can be overwhelming in tea for me but this blend really impressed. I enjoyed it hot, and found it sweet and well balanced between chocolate, candy cane, and tea flavors. When I added milk to the tea, it turned the blend from enjoyable to one of my new favorite holiday teas. There’s something about the touch of creaminess milk adds that just made this such a perfect seasonal drink. I definitely look forward to having this in latte form again very soon.

This one was such a delight. The dry leaf is adorable—rounded black tea leaves dotted with bits of candy cane and a gentle dusting of chocolate. As it steeps, the leaves unfurl beautifully and the aroma immediately becomes exactly what you hope for with a tea like this: cool peppermint and cozy chocolate.
I steeped it at 212°F for 3½ minutes, and it brewed up a deep, rich brown. What I loved most is how the organic black tea still shines through the mint and chocolate. It is mint-forward, but not in a way that takes over the cup. The dark chocolate note is slightly bitter—in the best possible way—like good-quality cocoa.
I didn’t feel the need to add any sweetener. I did try it with a splash of cream, and honestly, it turns into a lovely tea-based alternative to hot chocolate. A festive, comforting cup I’d happily reach for again.

I’m not really a dessert tea kind of guy but I am completely sold on Chocolate Candy Cane by Inspired Leaf. When I opened the packet it smelled so good that I almost ate it instead of steeping it! I’m glad I did steep it because the taste of this blend is absolutely delicious.

If you’re a chocolate mint lover, this will be right up your alley!
I was able to try this one hot and hot with milk. This has a minty chocolate aroma straight from the pouch. Brewed hot, this is an absolutely delectable chocolate mint tea. Think actual peppermints instead of just plain mint (the herb). This honestly reminds me of the best type of peppermint bark—chocolatey, minty, and a touch of cream. The black tea base here is quite bold, and I think that pairs nicely with the very minty candy canes. This tea shines with milk (I used soy here, since I am dairy free). This takes the peppermint bark flavor to the next level. So creamy and candy-like! What a lovely blend for the holiday season, but honestly, I would drink this year round.

Opening the package reveals beautiful black snail leaf tea coated with candy cane pieces and a dusting of dark chocolate powder. It was a holiday look that made me smile.
I found this to be one of the best chocolate teas I’ve ever had. The brewed cup tastes exactly like its name suggests. Wanting a dessert-style experience, I added organic whole milk and a touch of raw sugar, and what I ended up with was a comforting, nostalgic replica of my favorite peppermint dark chocolate cookies.
The blend is beautifully harmonious—neither flavor overwhelms the other. It’s simply a delicious union of rich chocolate and cool peppermint, the kind of tea that makes you pause and enjoy the moment. I wholeheartedly recommend giving this one a try.

I’m a big fan of chocolate and mint, so was super excited to try this one. This blend was stunning! The black tea mixed with the candy cane pieces made a wonderful visual. While steeping, the scent of peppermint filled the room with such a cozy Christmas vibe! This tea was so good, so smooth and well-balanced. It was peppermint forward with a rich chocolatey flavor. There was a delicate, sweet note and it had a creamy mouth feel. I didn’t add anything to this, it was perfect on its own. Really enjoyed this one! Highly recommend!
This tea was gifted to me by purveyor, but all opinions are my own.

Chocolate Candy Cane is a cozy, festive blend that tastes like a warm holiday treat in a mug. The rich black tea base pairs smoothly with the sweet peppermint candy cane pieces, giving it a bright and comforting finish. The organic dark chocolate powder adds a velvety depth without being overly sweet. I love that the peppermint and chocolate balance each other instead of competing.
