Ever wonder why you end up with cloudy iced tea at times and then the next time you brew it up, it’s clear? Some people associate cloudy iced tea with a poor quality tea but that’s not actually the issue. You can get a cloudy appearance in any quality of tea. There are a couple of simple solutions to this problem if you don’t like the cloudy look. When you brew your tea hot, don’t put it in the fridge to cool right away. It needs to sit and cool off a bit first. The drastic temperature change fro hot to cold can cause your tea to cloud. Your water also makes a difference. Water high in minerals will cloud easier. The good news is that the cloudy appearance won’t effect the taste of your tea at all. So drink up and enjoy your iced tea, cloudy or not!
